Top 3 beauty salons in Pristina
Anyone looking for a beauty salon in Pristina runs into the same problem: many names, very little verifiable information. Our panel of five reviewers ranked all 15 salons we cover from 1 to 15, and the sum of those scores decides every position on this site. This page looks at the three salons at the very top of the table, what separates them, and how to decide which one fits your next appointment.
The top three could hardly be more different: a family hair and beauty salon on a quiet residential street, a medical-aesthetic clinic in the city centre, and a social-media-driven studio for lashes, brows and bridal makeup. Between first and second place there is exactly one point.
| # | Salon | Score |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | B&B Elegance A mother-and-daughter family salon: Besirja on hair with over 20 years of experience and Biondina on facial treatments. Hair, makeup and skin in one visit, with a public price list. | 70 |
| 2 | estethica An aesthetic clinic, the Kosovo branch of the Turkish estethica brand, operating since 2012. Skin-focused: hydrafacial, laser and medical-aesthetic procedures rather than a hair salon. | 69 |
| 3 | FRK Beauty Kosova A big name on social media with around 84 thousand Instagram followers. Offers lashes, microblading, bridal makeup, hair removal and courses. Does not take appointments through the usual channel. | 56 |
How this ranking works
Five reviewers, Elira, Arta, Fjolla, Donika and Klea, each ranked all 15 salons from 1, the weakest, to 15, the strongest, and every reviewer used each score exactly once. The five scores per salon are then added together, so the maximum any salon can reach is 75 points. B&B Elegance reached 70, estethica 69 and FRK Beauty Kosova 56.
Because every reviewer had to force-rank the whole field, the totals reward salons that convinced all five, not salons with one enthusiastic fan. A one-point gap, as between B&B Elegance and estethica, is effectively a photo finish. The thirteen-point drop to third place is the real dividing line in this table.
We do not use Google star ratings anywhere, because we could not verify them reliably for any of the 15 salons. Every factual claim on this page comes from the salons' own public channels and our research notes, and where information is not published, we say so.
1. B&B Elegance, 70 of 75 points
B&B Elegance is a mother-and-daughter family salon on Jakov Xoxa street in the Muharrem Fejza area, a quiet residential part of the city. Besirja, the mother, has worked with hair for more than 20 years; Biondina, the daughter, runs the facial treatments. Between them the salon covers cuts, colour, ombre, balayage, highlights, blow-dries and styling, plus brows and makeup, and a skin menu that runs from deep cleansing to hydrafacial, dermaplaning, radiofrequency and LED.
Two reviewers, Elira and Fjolla, gave it the maximum 15 points, Arta and Klea gave 14, and even the most reserved score, Donika's 12, would on its own still point to the top of the field. What convinced the panel most is transparency: B&B Elegance is the only salon of the 15 with a complete public price list, from a 15 euro haircut and 25 euro makeup to balayage from 140 euro and a 60 euro hydrafacial.
The practical case is just as strong. Because hair, makeup and skin sit under one roof, a single visit can cover a complete look, something few salons in Pristina offer with this clarity. The salon is open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00, closed on Sunday, and bookings work by phone, WhatsApp or Viber.
2. estethica, 69 points
estethica is not a classic salon but a medical-aesthetic clinic, the Kosovo branch of the Turkish estethica brand, operating in Pristina since 2012. It sits in the Mother Teresa Square area in the centre and keeps long hours, Monday to Saturday from 08:00 to 20:00. The menu is led by skin and technology: HydraFacial, laser treatments, mesotherapy, Tixel and the Alma Harmony XL PRO platform.
Arta and Klea both scored it at the maximum 15, Elira and Donika gave 14. Only Fjolla was cooler with 11, which fits the profile of the place: if you need a haircut or bridal styling, estethica simply does not offer it, so how highly you rate it depends on what you are shopping for.
The trade-off against B&B Elegance is clear. estethica offers the most clinical, device-based skin care in this ranking, backed by an international brand and a bilingual website, but it publishes no prices and takes bookings by phone or WhatsApp, so ask for a quote before you commit to a treatment plan.
3. FRK Beauty Kosova, 56 points
FRK Beauty Kosova has the strongest social-media presence in the top three, with around 84 thousand Instagram followers and its own loyalty app on Google Play. The studio focuses on eyelash lifts, microblading, skincare, hair removal, bridal makeup and hair styling, and it also trains, with courses in makeup and lash work.
The panel placed it third with 56 points on a consistent set of scores: 13 from Arta, 12 from Elira, 11 from Donika and from Klea, 9 from Fjolla. Nobody put it at the very top, and the reason shows in our research file: FRK publishes no address, no opening hours and no prices, and its own bio states that it does not take appointments through the usual channel.
That makes FRK a studio you follow rather than simply book. For lashes, brows and bridal makeup the portfolio is exactly what many clients want, but plan ahead and confirm on Instagram or through the app how access currently works before you rely on it for a date-critical appointment.
How to choose between the top three
All three earn their position, so the choice is less about quality and more about what you actually need on the day. A simple way to decide:
- Choose B&B Elegance if you want hair, makeup and skin handled in one visit, or if you want to know every price before you walk in.
- Choose estethica if your goal is clinical skin care, laser or device-based treatments, and you do not need hair services at all.
- Choose FRK Beauty Kosova for lashes, brows and bridal makeup, if you are comfortable arranging the visit through its social channels or app.
If you are torn between the top two, remember that they barely compete: one is a salon, the other a clinic. The more realistic comparison is B&B Elegance against FRK for makeup and bridal work, where B&B's published 25 euro makeup price and fixed opening hours make planning easier, while FRK's specialised lash and brow portfolio goes deeper in exactly those niches.
What budget to plan
For B&B Elegance the arithmetic is public. A cut with a straight blow-dry comes to 23 euro, a colour with blow-dry to around 48 to 52, and a full occasion morning, hairstyle plus makeup plus brow shaping, to 57 euro. On the skin side, the deep cleanse costs 25 euro, the hydrafacial 60, and the combined session of both 50, the clearest saving on the list.
At estethica and FRK Beauty Kosova, no prices are published, so budget conversations start with a quote. Two practical habits help: ask for the total in writing, including any products or add-ons, and for treatment series ask for the per-session price when booked as a course. Neither habit is rude; both are normal for salons that price individually.
A rough sanity check for comparing quotes: B&B's list tells you what a family salon in a residential street charges. A central clinic with medical equipment or a specialised studio may reasonably cost more, but the difference should be explainable, technology, products, experience, rather than simply asserted.
Finally, remember what the budget buys in each case: at B&B a finished look for the day, at estethica a skin result that often builds over a series of sessions, at FRK a specialised treatment such as lashes or brows that lasts weeks. Comparing single prices across the three therefore misleads; compare the cost per month of effect instead.
If you need the rest of the market, the top five adds the balayage specialist Etrit Hair and the colour-correction duo A&L Hair Studio, and the full ranking of all 15 explains every position below the podium. For most first bookings, though, the three names on this page cover the common cases: full service, clinical skin, and lashes, brows and bridal.
Frequently asked questions
Which of the three works latest?
estethica, with published hours from 08:00 to 20:00 Monday to Saturday, is the clear choice for after-work appointments. B&B Elegance closes at 17:00, and FRK publishes no hours at all, so ask through its channels.
How do you rank the salons?
The ranking comes from the scores of five reviewers, each of whom ranked all 15 salons from 1 to 15. The sum gives the total, out of a maximum of 75.
Why did B&B Elegance come first?
B&B Elegance leads with 70 of 75 points. Two of the five reviewers gave it their maximum score, and it is the only salon in our set with a full public price list, which made it the easiest recommendation to verify.
Is estethica really a beauty salon?
It is a medical-aesthetic clinic rather than a classic salon. It ranks here because our set covers beauty services broadly, and for skin treatments it is the most specialised address in the ranking, operating in Pristina since 2012.
Do these three publish prices?
Only B&B Elegance does. estethica and FRK Beauty Kosova publish no prices, so both need to be asked directly. B&B's list runs from a 15 euro haircut and 25 euro makeup to highlights at 100 euro and balayage from 140 euro.
What is the biggest practical difference between them?
Booking. B&B Elegance takes bookings by phone, WhatsApp or Viber within fixed hours, estethica books by phone or WhatsApp with long opening hours, and FRK does not take appointments through the usual channel, so contact it through its app or Instagram first.
