Best salons for brides
No appointment carries more pressure than the bridal one: a fixed date, photographs that last decades and a morning where nothing is allowed to run late. This page ranks the salons in our Pristina directory that explicitly offer bridal services, ordered by the panel's overall scores, and adds the planning guide we wish every bride received with her booking.
Only three of the 15 salons we researched publicly offer bridal preparation, which in itself is useful information: the market is narrower than the number of salons suggests, and the three take very different approaches to booking, pricing and what else can happen in the same chair.
| # | Salon | Score |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | B&B Elegance A mother-and-daughter family salon: Besirja on hair with over 20 years of experience and Biondina on facial treatments. Hair, makeup and skin in one visit, with a public price list. | 70 |
| 3 | FRK Beauty Kosova A big name on social media with around 84 thousand Instagram followers. Offers lashes, microblading, bridal makeup, hair removal and courses. Does not take appointments through the usual channel. | 56 |
| 10 | Njomza Beauty Center A beauty center with the largest social following among these salons, around 342 thousand followers. Makeup, bridal, microblading, hair extensions and keratin, with online booking. | 29 |
Why only three names
Our category lists include only salons whose bridal offer we could verify from their own public channels. Several others do makeup in general, Passion's network for example lists makeup and brows across its branches, and it can be worth asking there too, but bridal as a named service, with the trial runs and morning scheduling it implies, is documented for exactly these three.
How the three differ at a glance
- B&B Elegance: the full morning in one place, with published prices and fixed hours.
- FRK Beauty Kosova: the makeup and lash specialist with the deepest portfolio, booked through its own channels.
- Njomza Beauty Center: the broadest bridal hair offer, extensions and keratin included, with online booking.
All three are Instagram-documented, so the honest first step is an evening with their feeds: look for brides with your colouring and your hair, and screenshot what you want to reference later.
1. B&B Elegance
The overall ranking winner is also the only address where a bride can see the arithmetic in advance: makeup 25 euro, hairstyle 25 euro, both on the public list, with brows at 7 euro and a facial menu from 10 to 60 euro for the weeks before. Hair, makeup and skin under one roof means the whole morning happens in one place, with Besirja on hair and Biondina on skin.
The practical frame: Jakov Xoxa street, Monday to Saturday 09:00 to 17:00, closed Sunday, bookings by phone, WhatsApp or Viber. For Sunday weddings, discuss timing when you book; the published hours are the working frame, and arrangements beyond them are between you and the salon.
2. FRK Beauty Kosova
The specialist choice. Bridal makeup is one of FRK's named core services, next to lash lifts, microblading and skincare, and the studio teaches makeup courses, which usually signals technical depth. Around 84 thousand Instagram followers make its portfolio the easiest of the three to study scroll by scroll before you decide.
The caution is the same as everywhere on this site: no published address, hours or prices, and appointments outside the usual channel. For a date-critical booking, that means starting months early, agreeing everything in writing through the app or Instagram, and reconfirming as the day approaches.
3. Njomza Beauty Center
The biggest audience in the category, around 342 thousand Instagram followers, and a bridal menu that goes beyond the face: permanent brows and microblading, hair extensions, colour and keratin, useful when the bridal plan includes changing the hair itself, not just styling it. Online booking is a genuine advantage for planning ahead.
The panel scored it 29 overall, well behind the two above, on the same transparency grounds: no published prices and conflicting information on hours. Its portfolio reach and extension work keep it firmly on the shortlist for brides who want volume or length added for the day.
The bridal timeline that protects your morning
Booking: reserve as soon as your date is fixed, months in advance for summer Saturdays, and confirm in writing who exactly will do your hair and makeup. The trial: schedule a full trial two to four weeks before, with photos in daylight and with the veil or accessories you will actually wear; note every product used so the day itself is a repeat, not an experiment.
The morning: hair before makeup is the usual order; plan backwards from the photographer's arrival and add a buffer of at least half an hour. Skin: any new facial treatment should be tested well before the wedding week, deep cleanses no later than a week out, so your skin has time to settle; B&B's published facial list makes that pre-wedding series easy to budget.
One more scheduling note: the city's wedding traffic peaks in summer, and salons that work Monday to Saturday fill their Saturday mornings first. B&B Elegance publishes Monday to Saturday hours and closes on Sunday; FRK and Njomza publish no hours at all, so ask early if your wedding falls on a Sunday.
Questions to ask before you book
- Who exactly will style me on the day, and is a trial with that same person included or priced separately?
- How many brides do you take per morning, and what happens if the schedule slips?
- What is the total price in writing, including the trial, lashes and any travel?
- Can hair, makeup and skin preparation be combined here, or do I need a second address?
- How early can we start, and does the salon open specially if the wedding is on a Sunday?
The cost picture for the wedding morning
Published arithmetic exists only at B&B Elegance: hairstyle 25 euro, makeup 25, brow shaping 7, so a classic bridal morning starts around 57 euro before extras, and the pre-wedding skin series can be planned from the same list, a 25 euro deep cleanse in the weeks before, a 60 euro hydrafacial or the 50 euro combination closer to the date.
At FRK and Njomza the number arrives with the quote, and bridal is where quotes deserve the most scrutiny anywhere: ask what is included, trial, lashes, touch-up kit, second look, whether the wedding-morning rate differs from the regular one, and what the cancellation terms are. A bridal package is a small contract; treat it like one.
Hair, extensions and colour before the day
If the plan includes colour, schedule it two to three weeks before the wedding: fresh enough to shine, old enough for the tone to settle and for any correction to fit in. B&B's colour list, colour 40 euro, highlights 100, balayage from 140, lets you budget this stage as well; Njomza adds extensions and keratin for volume and smoothness, both of which want their own trial well ahead of the week itself.
Whoever does the colour, tell your bridal stylist about it: updos and fresh lightening behave differently, and the trial should happen on the hair state you will actually have. It is one more argument for the one-roof route, or at least for making the two salons aware of each other.
A word on the wider market: if none of the three fits, the full ranking lists other houses with makeup in their range, Passion's branches above all, while hair-only specialists like Etrit Hair state plainly that they do not offer makeup, so do not build a bridal morning around them. Whatever you choose, the pattern of this page holds: the fewer details a salon publishes, the earlier and more precisely you should ask.
Finally, photograph everything at the trial: front, profile, back, in daylight and in flash. The photos are not for Instagram but for the stylist's bench on the wedding morning, where they turn taste into instructions.
The ranking comes from the scores of five reviewers, each of whom ranked all 15 salons from 1 to 15. The sum gives the total, out of a maximum of 75.
Frequently asked questions
Should I colour my hair before the wedding?
If you already colour regularly, yes, on the two-to-three-week rhythm described above rather than days before. If you are considering a first-ever big change, a new balayage for the wedding, decide months out and run it through a trial; the wedding week is the wrong time for experiments.
What does bridal styling cost in Pristina?
Only B&B Elegance publishes prices, and brides pay the dedicated rates: 100 euro for bridal makeup and 100 euro for the bridal hairstyle, so around 200 euro for the classic pair before extras; everyday makeup and styling cost 25 euro each. FRK and Njomza price individually, so get quotes in writing; bridal packages elsewhere are negotiated case by case.
When should I book?
As soon as the date is fixed. The bridal market in Pristina is narrower than it looks, three verified providers in our directory, and summer Saturdays concentrate demand. Months ahead is normal, and the trial should sit two to four weeks before the day.
Do these salons do trials?
None of the three publishes trial terms, so treat it as a question for the booking conversation. Ask whether the trial is included, what it costs and whether it is with the same stylist as the wedding morning.
What about the wider wedding party?
B&B Elegance covers hair, brows and skin for anyone in one visit and publishes every price, which makes it the simplest place to bring a mother or bridesmaids. At FRK and Njomza, ask when you enquire; both are makeup-led studios where group capacity depends on the morning.
Is Passion an option for bridal makeup?
Passion lists makeup and brows across a network of six to seven branches with long hours, and some branches open on Sunday. It does not advertise a named bridal service, which is why it is not in the table, but for a Sunday wedding or a large party it can be worth asking directly.
