The core of B&B Elegance is a family split that is easy to describe: Besirja, the mother, works on hair and has more than twenty years of experience behind the chair, while Biondina, the daughter, handles the facial treatments. That division gives the salon two clear specialties under one roof instead of one long generic service list. When you book, you know in advance who does what, which is rarer in Pristina than it should be, because most salons publish no information about their team at all.

The salon sits on Jakov Xoxa street in the Muharrem Fejza zone, a quiet residential part of Pristina rather than a shopping street. That location shapes the experience: this is not a place you wander into while crossing the centre, it is a destination clients travel to on purpose. The working week runs Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 17:00, with Sunday closed, and those hours are published, which alone puts B&B ahead of most of this ranking on basic transparency.

Transparency is also why this profile is the longest on our site. The services in detail

The hair side, led by Besirja, covers cuts, full colour, ombre, balayage and highlights, along with blow-dries and event styling. Ombre and balayage are gradual colouring techniques: ombre creates a transition from darker roots to lighter ends, while balayage is painted freehand for a more natural effect. Both take considerably longer than a standard single-colour application, which is why they appear as the most expensive items on the price list.

The skin side, Biondina's territory, is unusual for a neighbourhood salon: deep facial cleansing, hydrafacial, dermaplaning, radiofrequency lifting, aqua-dermabrasion and LED therapy with red or blue light. Hydrafacial is a device-based cleanse that combines exfoliation with hydration, dermaplaning removes fine hairs and dead skin cells with a dedicated blade, and radiofrequency uses controlled warmth to firm the skin. On top of these come brow shaping, brow tinting and professional makeup.

The practical value of this range is the combination: a single visit can cover hair, makeup and skin. For a wedding, an engagement or a photo shoot, that means one appointment, one address and two people who know both sides of the job. Most salons in this ranking would require two or three different addresses for the same preparation.

The price list, item by item

Since B&B Elegance is the only salon of these fifteen in Pristina with fully public prices, the list deserves a careful read. The hair basics are affordable: a haircut is 15 euros, a straight blow-dry 8 euros, a natural blow-dry 12 euros and a full hairstyle 25 euros. Everyday makeup also costs 25 euros, while bridal services carry their own rate: bridal makeup 100 euros and the bridal hairstyle 100 euros. These figures offer a rare window into the real market level in the city, because no other salon provides a public point of comparison.

On colour, the price scale follows working time: full colour is 40 euros, highlights 100 euros, ombre or shatir from 120 euros and balayage from 140 euros. The word "from" on the last two is not marketing, it is the reality of the technique: hair length, density and the existing colour directly affect the amount of product and the hours of work. Anyone with long or previously coloured hair should expect a price above the base, and that holds everywhere, not just here.

Brows and facials complete the list. Brow shaping costs 7 euros and brow tinting 8 euros. Among the facials: the quick cleanse with mask is 10 euros, the deep cleanse 25 euros, the hydrafacial 60 euros, and the combination of deep cleanse with hydrafacial 50 euros, cheaper than the two items booked separately. Dermaplaning with a mask costs 15 euros, radiofrequency 20 euros, deep cleanse with radiofrequency 45 euros, aqua-dermabrasion 30 euros and LED therapy 15 euros. A necessary reminder: these are the prices published by the salon itself at the time of our research and they can change. Always confirm before booking. But even as a dated reference point, this list remains the best public tool for judging the offers of any other salon in the city.

Who it suits, and who should look elsewhere

B&B Elegance suits best those who want everything in one visit: hair, makeup and skin from two people known by name. It is a natural choice for brides and events, for anyone who wants price certainty before sitting in the chair, and for diaspora clients who want to book from abroad by WhatsApp or Viber and know exactly what they will pay.

Who should look elsewhere: the salon offers no nail services, so for manicure or nail art you need addresses like Serpent Claws or Red Beauty Corner. It also offers no medical-aesthetic procedures with lasers or clinical devices, which are estethica's territory. Sunday is closed, and the 17:00 closing time may not suit people who work late; the Passion network, for example, publishes longer hours.

How to book

A practical tip for the summer season: since the salon runs on two people rather than a large team, daily capacity is limited by the nature of the family model. Anyone returning to Kosovo in July or August who wants a balayage plus makeup for a wedding is well advised to write on WhatsApp as soon as the dates are known, not after arriving.

How the five reviewers split

For Elira, the full colour range from a hairdresser with more than twenty years of experience carried the weight; for Fjolla, the simple fact that this is the only salon where a client in Switzerland or Germany can see prices, hours and a WhatsApp number without sending a single message.

Arta on makeup gave 14, because makeup is offered and publicly priced, but it is not the centre of the salon's identity as it is at specialised makeup studios. Klea, who judges the whole experience and value for money, also gave 14: clear prices combined with full service is exactly what her beat looks for. The lowest score, 12 from Donika, has a simple explanation: her beat compares facial treatments against the clinical standard, and a clinic like estethica runs devices and procedures a salon does not have. Even so, 12 points for facials in a family salon shows that Biondina's offer was taken seriously.
