Every bride's first question is what it will cost. The honest answer for Pristina: almost no salon publishes prices. Of the 15 salons in our ranking, only one has a public price list. Below is the state of things, salon by salon.

Published prices

B&B Elegance (number 1) is the only salon with public prices, and the list draws a clear line: bridal hairstyle 100 € and bridal makeup 100 €, while everyday hairstyling and makeup cost 25 € each. A full bridal preparation with hair and makeup therefore comes to around 200 €, and with a pre-wedding facial (deep cleanse 25 € or hydrafacial 60 €) the full plan is easy to calculate.

What the price depends on

Even where prices are not published, they are not random. When you ask a salon, the offer you receive is built from several measurable factors, and once you know them, you understand why two brides pay different amounts for the same service.

The full bridal budget: what to count

The hair and makeup of the day are only one line of the budget. A complete wedding beauty plan usually also includes the trial, the skin preparation in the final months, the brows, possibly a colour or hair treatment and, in many families, the preparation of the mother and sisters. Write it all in one list before asking the salons, so the offer covers everything and no surprises appear at the end.

A worked example with the public prices

Since only B&B Elegance publishes prices, it serves as the only publicly calculable example. A full plan there can look like this: the wedding day with bridal makeup 100 € and bridal hairstyle 100 €, a deep facial cleanse two months ahead 25 €, the deep cleanse plus hydrafacial combination one month ahead 50 €, dermaplaning with mask one week ahead 15 € and brow shaping 7 €. Around 297 € in total for the whole journey, excluding the trial: how the trial is billed is not on the public list, so clarify it in writing when you book.

If your plan includes colour too, the same salon's public list gives reference points: colour 40 €, ombre from 120 €, balayage from 140 €, highlights 100 €. These values do not apply to the other salons, but they give you a feel for the price level in the city when you compare the written offers you receive.

Salons without public prices

For all the other salons in the ranking we could not find public prices: estethica, FRK Beauty Kosova, Etrit Hair, A&L Hair Studio, Red Beauty Corner, The Hair Space, VOGUEhair, SERA, Njomza Beauty Center, Serpent Claws, Marei Esthetic, Rina Zaiti, Passion and Hair Time. Passion advertises seasonal offers from 4.99 € to 64.99 €, but those are promotions, not standard prices. For an exact price, each salon has to be asked directly.

How to ask for a written offer

Since 14 of the 15 salons have no public lists, a written offer is your main comparison tool. Send the same message to two or three salons and compare not only the amount but also the clarity of the reply: a precise, fast offer signals a salon that knows how to organise itself. Your first message should contain these elements:

Prishtina prices versus the diaspora

Many brides living in Germany, Switzerland or Austria choose to get ready in Pristina, and the main reason is the price-to-quality ratio. The mere fact that at the first salon of the ranking bridal hair and makeup together cost around 200 € shows the level: for the same bridal services in Western Europe you often pay 400 to well over 800 €. That also makes a full prior trial possible without straining the budget.

The low price does have a hidden cost though: time. A diaspora bride often returns only days before the wedding, so the trial, the brows and any treatment must be squeezed into a narrow window. How to organise that is covered step by step in our guide for the diaspora bride.

The extra costs worth asking about

Package or separate services

When a salon offers you a single sum for everything, ask for the item-by-item breakdown. Not to haggle, but for control: with an itemised offer you see exactly what you are paying for and can drop what you do not need, for example the lashes if you do not wear them, or a second trial if the first convinced you. A good package saves money over separate services, but only the breakdown proves it.

How to compare the offers with each other

Two offers can only be compared when they contain the same things. If one includes the trial, the lashes and the veil placement and the other does not, the price difference tells you nothing. So build a simple table with three columns: the service, salon A, salon B. Put the trial, the day makeup, the hairstyle, the lashes, the veil and any skin treatment in the rows, and fill the cells with the figures from the written conversations. The gaps in the table are your next questions.

Compare what euros do not measure too: how fast and how clearly they replied, whether they asked about the dress and the venue, whether they offered a trial themselves. A salon that asks good questions before giving a price is showing you how it will work in the chair as well. In the end the lowest price is not the goal: the goal is a clear price for the work you actually want.

When you decide: the price in the context of the day

Hair and makeup are among the smallest lines of a Kosovar wedding budget, but among the most visible: they appear in every photo and are remembered for years. So think of the price in relation to the weight of the service, not as a number on its own. A difference of 20 or 30 € between two offers should not decide alone; the portfolio, the trial and the communication weigh more. And where prices are published, as at B&B Elegance, the transparency itself is part of the value.

Mind the timing of the question too: the price you get in January for a July wedding needs reconfirming as the date approaches, because lists get refreshed and promotions change. So keep the first written conversation and ask for a short confirmation in the final weeks, with the amount, the hour and the agreed services in a single message. That message is your little contract for the wedding morning.

Prices and appointments change, especially in wedding season. Confirm directly with the salon before booking.

Frequently asked questions

Why do salons in Pristina not publish prices?

The market mostly works through direct questions on Instagram, WhatsApp or Viber, and the price varies by hair length, technique and season. That makes comparison hard, which is why public prices are a sign of transparency.

How much should I budget in total for wedding beauty?

The only public reference point is B&B Elegance, where the wedding day with bridal makeup and hairstyle (100 € each), three facials and brows comes to around 297 €, excluding the trial, whose price is not published. For the other salons you have to collect written offers; your real total depends on colour, lashes and the number of people getting ready with you.

Is a deposit required to hold the date?

Practices vary from salon to salon and are not published, so ask directly at first contact. If you pay a deposit, request a written confirmation stating the date, hour, services and amount, so both sides hold the same proof.

Does the wedding day cost more than the trial?

The public list of B&B Elegance draws the line clearly: everyday hairstyling and makeup cost 25 € each, while the bridal hairstyle and bridal makeup are 100 € each, because the wedding day demands more time, longer wear and more detailed work. At salons without public prices that distinction cannot be known without asking, so clarify in writing how the wedding day is charged and how the trial is.
