Best salons for facials

Donika Hoxha
Skin, facial treatments and hygiene

Donika is dedicated to skincare and facial treatments, from deep cleansing to hydrafacial. She weighs treatment options, hygiene standards and where the line sits between a salon service and a clinic.

Facials are the quiet workhorse of the beauty menu: less dramatic than a colour change, but the treatment people rebook most regularly. This page ranks the five best places in Pristina for facial and skin treatments, from deep cleansing to hydrafacial, chosen only from the houses in our directory that offer them and ordered by the panel's overall scores.

The list is unusual because it mixes two different worlds: classic salon facials, done by hand with masks and steam, and clinic treatments built around machines and medical protocols. Both appear below, and the guide after the table explains which is which.

The treatments explained, with the only public prices in town

B&B Elegance is the only place of the five that publishes facial prices, so its list doubles as the city's reference sheet. A quick cleanse with mask, 10 euro, is maintenance. A deep cleanse, 25 euro, is the classic pore-by-pore session most skins want every month or two. Hydrafacial, 60 euro, uses a vortex device to cleanse, exfoliate and infuse serums in one pass, and the combination of deep cleanse plus hydrafacial is listed at 50 euro.

Beyond cleansing, dermaplaning with a mask, 15 euro, removes dead skin and fine facial hair with a blade for an instantly smoother surface. Radiofrequency lifting, 20 euro, warms the deeper layers to encourage firmness, with deep cleanse plus radiofrequency at 45 euro. Aqua-dermabrasion, 30 euro, is water-jet exfoliation, and LED sessions, red or blue light, 15 euro, target calming and clarity. Prices elsewhere in the city are on request only.

As a rule of thumb: book cleansing treatments for congestion, hydrafacial before events, dermaplaning for texture and makeup prep, and radiofrequency or LED as courses rather than one-offs, since their effect builds over repeated sessions.

1. B&B Elegance

Facials here are Biondina's department, the daughter in the mother-and-daughter team, while hair and makeup run in parallel chairs. The menu covers everything in the guide above, and the combination offers, deep cleanse plus hydrafacial at 50 euro instead of 85 separately, are the clearest published value in this category anywhere in Pristina.

Donika, our facials specialist, gave it 12; Elira and Fjolla gave 15. If you want skin, hair and makeup handled in one appointment, this is the only address on this page that does all three. Monday to Saturday, 09:00 to 17:00.

2. estethica

The clinical option, and for many skins the more powerful one. estethica has run in central Pristina since 2012 as part of the Turkish estethica brand, working with HydraFacial machines, laser, mesotherapy, Tixel and the Alma Harmony XL PRO platform, tools a salon does not carry. Donika scored it 14, and Arta and Klea gave it their maximum 15.

The trade-offs: no published prices, booking by phone or WhatsApp, and a strictly skin-focused menu, no hair or makeup. For persistent concerns, acne scarring, pigmentation, texture, that respond to device-based protocols, it is the strongest address in the ranking. Hours are long, 08:00 to 20:00 Monday to Saturday.

3. FRK Beauty Kosova

Skincare at FRK sits inside a broader beauty studio known for lashes, brows and bridal makeup, with around 84 thousand Instagram followers and its own app. The research file lists skincare among its core services but no treatment menu, prices or hours, so the sensible route is to ask through Instagram or the app what exactly is offered before booking. Its 56 panel points make it the strongest social-first option in the category.

4. Rina Zaiti Beauty Studio

The Rina Zaiti brand runs several arms, and the one relevant here is its Beauty and Spa line for face and body, alongside the better-known nail studio with around 27 thousand followers, spread over several locations including Velani and Marigona. No published prices or treatment list, and panel scores from 1 to 9 reflect how hard the offer is to pin down; message first, and confirm which location does facials.

5. Passion

The network option: founded in 2003, six to seven branches around Pristina, and the broadest overall service range in our directory, facials included alongside hair, makeup and brows. Its strengths are logistical, long hours from 08:00 to 20:00 and, at some branches, Sunday opening, which nobody else on this page offers. The panel preferred smaller, more personal rooms, which is why 24 points puts it fifth here, but for a spontaneous facial on a Sunday it may be the only door open.

Salon facial or clinic treatment?

If your goal is maintenance, glow and relaxation, a salon facial does the job and costs less; B&B's published range, 10 to 60 euro, is the benchmark. If you are treating a persistent condition, think pigmentation, scarring, stubborn texture, a clinic like estethica with medical-grade devices is the better conversation to start, with the caveat that pricing is individual. Many clients sensibly alternate: clinic courses for the underlying issue, salon facials in between.

Before and after your facial

A facial performs best on prepared skin. In the two or three days before, pause strong at-home actives such as retinoids and acid peels, and mention anything you use in the consultation, along with medication, allergies and pregnancy, so the therapist can adjust the protocol. If you are treating active acne or take skin medication, say so when booking rather than in the chair; some treatments need to wait. Arrive without makeup if you can; the first quarter hour otherwise goes to removing it.

Afterwards, expect the skin to be flushed for a few hours, especially after a deep cleanse. For a day, skip heavy makeup, saunas, the solarium and hard training, and be strict with sun protection, freshly exfoliated skin burns faster. Extractions can surface small blemishes the next day; that is the treatment working, not failing, and it is the reason facials belong a week before events, not the evening prior.

The budget picture

With B&B's public list, a maintenance year is easy to price: a monthly deep cleanse at 25 euro comes to 300 per year, a quarterly hydrafacial adds 240, and the 50 euro combination trims the months where you want both. The 10 euro quick cleanse with mask fills gaps between full sessions.

For the other four providers, prices are individual. Clinic protocols at estethica in particular are usually built as multi-session courses, where the fair comparison is the price of the full course against the published salon alternative, not one session against one session. Ask for the plan in writing, sessions, spacing, total. The same course logic applies at FRK and Rina Zaiti, where a message through their channels is the only way to a number.

A quick router by concern

Congestion and regular maintenance point to the salon side, B&B, where the deep cleanse is the workhorse. Persistent pigmentation, scarring or texture point to estethica's devices. If your facial is part of a bigger occasion booking, lashes, brows, makeup, you are in FRK territory, and the skin work should be planned days earlier, not the same morning. For nails plus face within one brand, Rina Zaiti's arms cover both; for a branch near you with long hours, Passion.

And a note on what this page does not cover: laser hair removal and injectable procedures sit outside the facial category; estethica is the name in this table working at that clinical end, and its consultation is the right place to ask what belongs in a treatment plan and what does not.

The ranking comes from the scores of five reviewers, each of whom ranked all 15 salons from 1 to 15. The sum gives the total, out of a maximum of 75.

Frequently asked questions

Do a facial and makeup work on the same day?

For a light cleanse or LED, usually yes, and B&B Elegance can run both in one visit. After deeper work, extractions, dermaplaning, peels, most skins prefer a day of rest before full makeup, which is why the pre-event facial belongs several days out.

Which treatment fits a first visit?

A deep cleanse is the standard first appointment: the therapist sees your skin thoroughly, you see how the place works, and at B&B it costs a published 25 euro. From there, upgrades like hydrafacial, dermaplaning or a radiofrequency course are easier to judge.

How often should I get a facial?

For most skins a deep cleanse every four to eight weeks is the common rhythm, with lighter maintenance such as a quick cleanse and mask in between. Device treatments such as radiofrequency and LED are usually sold and planned as courses; ask each provider for their recommended interval, since it depends on your skin.

What does a facial cost in Pristina?

The only public benchmark is B&B Elegance: 10 euro for a quick cleanse with mask, 25 for a deep cleanse, 60 for a hydrafacial, and combinations such as deep cleanse plus hydrafacial at 50 euro. estethica, FRK, Rina Zaiti and Passion quote on request.

Is a hydrafacial worth it over a classic cleanse?

They do different jobs. A classic deep cleanse is manual and thorough on congestion. A hydrafacial is machine-based, gentler, adds serum infusion and gives glow with no downtime before events. B&B's published combination at 50 euro lets you have both in one appointment.

Why is a nail-known brand like Rina Zaiti on this page?

Because the brand also runs a face and body spa arm, which qualifies it for the category. The ranking orders every house that offers facials by overall panel score, and its 26 points place it fourth among the five providers.
